Military Schools and Training Opportunities
If you've got a high school diploma or are about to earn one, you can qualify for an enlisted career. In order to become a military officer, you must have a four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
Some officer occupations require advanced degrees or four-year degrees in specialized fields. You could go to college and then apply for an Officer Training School (OTS or OCS), or you could prepare for your military career through a Reserved Officer Training College (ROTC) program or a U.S. military academy.
