You can enroll in career colleges like Argosy University, Heald College, Remington College or the University of Phoenix. The career colleges can be found in locations like Honolulu, Kaneohe, Kapolei, Mililani and Wailuku.
The University of Hawaii system also includes 7 community colleges and 3 universities. Community colleges are located in Kauai, Maui, Molokai and Lanai. Universities are located in Hilo, on the Big Island; Manoa near Honolulu; and in West Oahu near Pearl City. The state’s largest private school is Hawaii Pacific University. The University offers Bachelor of Arts degrees in 40 majors including oceanography and marine biology.
